The activities on a cruise are rarely very exciting or fun for that matter. It depends on the age range of the majority of passengers in the ship. If it is children, you are looking at Disney games and fruit carving. There is nothing more fun then spending the day with a bunch of kids sings Disney songs.

If the age demographic is a bit older, say retirement age, you will probably find things like shuffle board or bingo. How much fun the activities are will also depend on how much effort the crew members want to put into it. Some may be able to make anything fun while other could care less.
