I Beg Your Pardon
The idea that saying “sorry” will heal a wounded heart and a broken trust is amusing to me. Acknowledgments are similar to bandages. They halt the bleeding, but the agony is still there. In certain cases, individuals attempt to shift the responsibility to you, even though you were the one who caused the problem.
Even so, we’re intrigued. What was the message in the last message? Is it three weeks, three days, three hours, three minutes or three seconds that they’ve apologized for? The moral of this story is to not spend time listening to excuses and simply let the cheater go if you’ve ever been taken advantage of.
