50 Times Influencers Went a Little Too Far

Okay, we’re not stupid. We know advertisers exaggerate and lie to us all the time but actually looking at a picture that proves this is something else! When phone company Huawei enlisted Egyptian influencer Sarah Elshamy as the face of an ad promoting their new Nova 3 phone, she was elated. 

She posted a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot but what she didn’t realize was that she was revealing a huge secret. While the ad shows her taking a selfie with the phone, people realized that those shots were actually the product of a professional DSLR. Even though she deleted the photo within 24 hours, the internet never forgets.
