#23: Party for Your Plants!
This person was wowed when they cracked the door to their grow room. Somehow. The crack in the door created a prism effect, refracting the light from the lamp along the floor in a process called dispersion. The array itself is called a spectrum. You’ve probably seen this happen many times, especially if you have glass prisms that create rainbows!

So why is this not a rainbow? Well, the original light isn’t white. It’s a combination of blue and red wavelength LED lights that appear purple, and it’s great for plants. It can be even better than sunlight for your veggie buddies. In this photo, you can see all the different wavelengths along the floor!
