This is the filter from a lawnmower. Until I saw this photo, I didn’t realize that lawnmowers even had filters! That’s because mine doesn’t, actually, now that I’ve checked. Thank goodness, too, because I’ve owned my push mower for ten years and never changed the filter. That would have been a real shock!

These filters are used on the lawnmowers with the bags attached that suck up the clippings. So fancy! If you’re interested, there are entire Reddit threads devoted to the old versus the new. However, the person who took this photo waited a bit too long before replacing it. That filter was doing no good for a while.
