Gen X Didn’t Text
It’s amazing how something integral to our daily lives, like texting, was not possible not too long ago. In this tweet, Grant Tanaka shares a funny interaction between him and his daughter. It all began when she donned a flannel hoodie. Thankfully, sense of humor continues to thrive no matter the generation.
Since that was a popular clothing option a few decades ago, Grant quipped the common line “hey, the 90’s called” as a way to playfully jab at his daughter’s style choice. But she was one step ahead of him when she mentioned that calling was the only means of communication you could carry out on the phone back then. Perhaps you believe kids are too obsessed with texting nowadays, but you must admit communication is much more accessible in the modern day.
