Yasgur Dairy Farm, Woodstock Festival Site – 1969 vs 2020
There will always be one that everyone thinks of when it comes to music and lifestyle festivals. Woodstock was marketed as a three-day music and art event to be “the most important artistic and spiritual experience in history,” but it wasn’t quite so pleasant. The famous event took place on a dairy farm in Bethel, New York, owned by Max and Miriam Yasgur. You don’t think about where these festivals are held often, but a dairy farm is an excellent location for 400,000 people. And these two side-by-side comparisons showcase the enormous size of this well-known event.
