You may have heard the sad news of Queen Elizabeth’s passing, if you have not, then we don’t know how you could have avoided it. Almost every television broadcast and radio show days after her death had been following the story closely. It’s a passing that has shaken the world and turned everyone’s eye onto the British royal family to see what will happen next.

Of course, we know that Charles will now become King, but after the Queen’s several decades on the throne, it’s hard to imagine anyone else sitting there. So although it’s a heavy time for the people of the UK, we thought we would keep things on a lighter note and celebrate the Queen and her family with a bit of humor. Living such a long and eventful life, Elizabeth had her moments of comedy that made us all smile and feel comfort that few could produce.
Tea with Paddington
Paddington Bear is a famous British children’s character, iconic for wearing his signature red hat and blue raincoat. But besides the bear’s adorable look, he also loves to eat marmalade sandwiches. This was the running joke during the short segment that Paddington and the Queen shared together for her platinum jubilee celebration.

In the small skit, Elizabeth and Paddington sit across from each other, having a small but wholesome conversation. In the end, Paddington takes out a sandwich and expresses that he always keeps one ready. To reply, the Queen takes out her bag and pulls her own sandwich out, stating that she always comes prepared as well.
