A true New Yorker can tell who’s a tourist and who’s a naturalized New Yorker. We couldn’t, though, since we’ve never lived in New York. We’ve visited the place, and it’s a wonderful state, but we can’t imagine living there and paying through the nose just to live in a shoebox.

Anyway, you can sport a tourist in New York by their garb. Most of them wear I ♥ NY shirts or have foam Statue of Liberty crowns on their heads. Oh, and they take endless pictures of the Statue of Liberty while wearing their foam hats and riding the ferries that take them around the island.
