Somniphobia is the official term for an irrational fear of dying in your sleep. People who suffer from it usually tend to stay awake for as long as they can, which only drives their health down even more. According to this Twitter user, our bodies are weakest from between 3 AM to 4 AM. That’s when most people pass away in their sleep.
But if you stay awake past 4 AM, then you’re in the clear right? You can actually meet the Grim Reaper and tell him to skedaddle. Obviously, you can’t and staying awake until the middle of the night for weeks at a time is not good for you. We’re not sleep experts, so take our advice with a grain of salt.
