With all the carpeting fails we’ve seen so far, this one is mild compared to the others. In fact, it’s kind of funny! Upon first glance, guests may worry that something terrible has happened in this hotel. Are those blood trails leading all the way down the hall?

What may look like a murder scene is quite harmless. It’s just an oddly designed carpet; those red lines are part of the carpet pattern! You might think that the designer would realize what this rug looks like. The least they could have done was pick a different color! But, hey, maybe they wanted to give guests a little harmless scare?
