#35: Frances Kelsey
Sometimes, it’s the smallest acts that have the biggest impacts. Little decisions can have far-reaching implications that completely alter the space-time continuum, and it’s mind-boggling to think that slightly different decisions could have had vastly different effects. The actions of Frances Kelsey are one instance where a different decision could have been devastating.
It’s especially apparent when talking about a lone voice of dissent against the entire medical establishment. It’s more than lucky that humanity is filled with people like Kelsey who are willing to stand up against the majority and fight for what they believe is right. Otherwise, we’d be prescribing harmful medications left, right, and center.
