Smaller Sun
One of the other big effects of having a smaller sun is that it would likely burn out much slower than our Sun will do. Our Sun has a lifespan of 10 billion years, and it is approximately halfway through at the moment. But a red dwarf can last trillions of years!

Equally, if the Sun were bigger, we would also lose our habitable zone, and the Earth would be an unbearably hot, dry place. It’d also change our orbit to become more elliptical, as we would spend more time with the Sun. That’s good for any summer lovers but terrible for all life!
