Moon Nuke
There are many movies where aliens or humans destroy the Moon – with disastrous consequences. We’ve already seen how important the Moon is to live on our planet, but destroying it would cause many problems. The biggest effect would be that we’d lose the tides forever, and this would affect animals like turtles.
Secondly, the night would become a whole lot darker, which would be great news for any astronomers as they’d be able to see the other objects in the sky better! Over the long term, our seasons would go way off schedule, and our days would be much faster. Let’s avoid nuking the Moon!
