I Scream, You Scream
After putting up with another person for years, everyone can get a little heated when stressed. Even if you consider yourself a calm person, we all lose our cool sometimes. Many couples will get into petty fights if they’re worried about something else. As this tweeter expresses, everyone wants to ‘win’ the argument, so, people will yell louder and louder until the argument becomes about the yelling.

It’s not the healthiest communication exercise, but yelling is stress-relieving. Hopefully, they find other methods of relieving stress than taking it out on each other emotionally though! That part definitely isn’t healthy. Maybe try yoga or kickboxing. Or both. Either way, nothing can be solved by yelling. Did you ever solve an argument by yelling? Yeah, neither did we.
