Toilet Paper
Paper usage for sanitary and hygienic reasons dates back to ancient times. It was first documented in China in 589 A.D., and production began in the 14th century. In 1857, toilet paper was mass-produced in Europe, which featured a design much different from what we use today.
In the late 1800s and early 1900s, papers were sold in bundles that resembled booklets. The rolls were introduced to Britain in 1880, and they have evolved into a better version. Nowadays, we’re all familiar with its appearance!
