Life Jackets
Life jackets, a necessary safety item on contemporary ships and planes that float or fly over water, have an exciting history. When they were first created, they resembled hogsheads and restricted body motions. When they aren’t available in sufficient quantities, things can go wrong.
Today’s GBSS are slim, have an orange tint, are composed of incredibly light and strong materials, and fit their users like a glove. In addition, they are safety devices under maritime law.
