Spooky Buildings That Put Us in a Halloween State of Mind

This menacing creation looks like it belongs in a film about alien invasions, but in truth, it’s a communication tower in Serbia called The Avala. It was built in 2010 as a replacement for the original building destroyed in 1999. The misty atmosphere and cropped shot give it an overly terrifying disposition.

In truth, it’s a beautiful tower. It has six floors and two elevators and is located near the gorgeous Avala mountains. It was designed by Uglješa Bogunović and Slobodan Janjić in the 1960s, and the new version is identical to the previous one. Hundreds of thousands of visitors per year come to see it!
