Working at the drive-through window in a fast food restaurant would be a unique sort of experience. You would have a constant stream of total strangers coming through; they reach your window, they stop, and they wait for you to hand them their food, and for a brief moment, you get a little glimpse into their lives… or at least into their car. What kinds of crazy things might you see? We have gathered stories from drive-through employees, talking about the cutest, craziest, and grossest things that they have seen from customers. Read on and see if you’ve ever done anything this crazy while waiting for your French fries.
This Is My Friend, Jack Skellington
We have a lot of weird and depressing things coming down the line, so let’s kick this off with a story that comes across as downright wholesome if you ask me. I mean, getting fast food so regularly that people recognize you on sight is probably not healthy, but I think the skeleton in the passenger seat seems harmless and amusing.
After all, people put hula girls on their dashboards; and really, what is a skeleton in your passenger seat wearing a hat other than a life-size hula girl, in a way? Maybe this guy just likes the companionship. Maybe he likes driving in the carpool lane on the freeway and is hoping the cops don’t look too closely at who’s in his passenger seat. Either way, I give this guy two thumbs up.
