Soften Brown Sugar
Brown sugar is a healthy alternative to processed white sugar but it tends to get clumpy and hard if left unused. As you may have guessed, aluminum foil is the answer to this problem as well.
Simply wrap foil around big chunks of brown sugar, place it in the oven, set it to 300 degrees, and let it be for 5 minutes. The foil spreads the heat evenly and helps loosen up the lumps of sugar. After 5 minutes, open the foil, let it cool, and it’s ready to be used.
