We often attribute human qualities to pets because they just make it too easy to forget they aren’t human! Their facial expressions, body language and actions sometimes seem so human-like, it can be eerie. Especially when our pets spend a lot of time around us, they learn from us and might even adopt some of our habits or try to mimic them.

Parrots, for example, are known for mimicking the words they hear. As it turns out, raccoons (or at least this specific raccoon), have an artistic sense. Look how proud he is of his paintings, just like a human would be! He’s positively beaming with pride. And why shouldn’t he be? These paintings are great!
