Even when children grow old and leave the nest, their parents never stop being their parents. The parental instincts never leave you, even if your children are adults and don’t need you as much as they used to. This seems to be the case with this father, who fell in love with these two baby raccoons. Well, maybe it has nothing to do with him being a father – they’re just incredibly adorable.

This father also happens to be a vet, so he has double the paternal instincts, in a way. When he saw these two raccoons who needed treatment, he couldn’t help but take them to his clinic and help them get back on their feet. His daughter isn’t jealous of his new love, as you can see. On the contrary, she’s happy for him!
