People Documented Their Amusing Encounters With Raccoons

Can you imagine sitting with the family for dinner, glancing at the backyard, and seeing a raccoon standing outside the door, looking in? We can’t really imagine what that might feel like and how we’d react – but that’s exactly what happened to this family. Apparently, their initial response was to take a picture! Who’d believe them otherwise?

He actually looks pretty sad, as if he’s wishing he was sitting around the table with this family, rather than looking at them from outside. We’re probably just reading too much into it. Anthropomorphism, anyone? Yep, that’s what we’re doing. There’s no way this raccoon feels lonely. He’s probably just hungry is all.
