This raccoon seems to be in a sticky situation. He went inside this chute looking for food remains, and couldn’t get out. What to do, what to do. A sticky situation indeed. This begs the question: how did he fit in there in the first place? How did he manage to shove his fluffy body into this tight space with no help? Peculiar indeed.

In the second photo, it looks like he gave up hope. He came to terms with his fate. It was his fate to stay stuck in this sewer chute forever. That must be the price he has to pay for his gluttony. But what could he have done? A raccoon has to eat. And they often look for food in dark, tight spaces. That’s their nature.
