From the First Roles to the Most Recent of Hollywood’s Top Stars

Born in 1975, Kate Winslet got her first screen time at the age of 15 in the British series Dark Season. Then in 1994, she made her film debut playing a teenager in Heavenly Creatures. She would later go on to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the box office hit Titanic, a role for which she competed with some of Hollywood’s biggest actresses.

Some of Kate’s career accomplishments include three British Academy Film Awards. Plus, she’s one of very few people to have won Academy, Emmy, and Grammy Awards. She played a dissatisfied housewife who was having an affair with a lifeguard (Justin Timberlake) in her last film, Wonder Wheel, in 2017, but she’s expected to return to the silver screen soon with new films.
