The religious landlord
When someone’s on a religious holiday, there’s nothing we can do but wait until they come back. In this persons’ case, the landlord was around, but their religious holiday prevented them from lifting a finger to help. The OP had just moved into a building that the previous tenant vacated mere hours earlier, leaving tons of suitcases and bags in their wake.
The landlord couldn’t do anything. Scratch that—the landlord wouldn’t do anything because it was a religious holiday. In the end, the OP was forced to live in the cluttered mess of the former tenant. There was no space on his bed to sleep comfortably. He had to endure living like this for the next week until the holiday was over.
