#10: The Desire to Live Is a Hell of a Thing
Americans love their private health insurance that only increases its rates by about 15 percent every few years. Apparently, this person thinks that without a hospital bill, people would purposefully injure themselves all the time. You know, since it’s not painful or inconvenient in any way.
It’s amazing what you can do with taxpayer money when you don’t have a defense budget that dwarfs the next ten countries spending combined. It’s one of the seven wonders of the world why the U.S. feels the need to do that when most of the other countries in the top ten are close allies.
