#20: Bubbles Are Bound to Burst
Americans can be fascinated with the imperial system despite knowing next to none of the conversions or having a sense of the scale for imperial measurements. Maybe that’s how this person was able to calculate the size of the U.S. population seeing as how they got it so astronomically wrong.
Should we burst another bubble this person probably believes in? The U.S. lost the Space Race during the Cold War after Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space. Depending on the person, they probably don’t even believe Americans visited the moon, so it’s a toss-up whether or not this person cares.
