#17: Old Me Wouldn’t Eat Kale
Kale wasn’t a very popular food until a few years ago when people started calling it super food and posting kale recipes on social media. So, now that people have started eating more kale, we need to learn how to preserve it. Water can help preserve it so that you don’t have to rush to cook them as fast as possible or eat wilted greens that aren’t very good.
Instead, by trimming the stems and placing them in a jar like a vase of flowers, you can have long-lasting greens and even bring wilted stems back from the edge. Who knew that water was the key to actually being able to eat your groceries in a reasonable time?
