#1: Don’t Dump Rice Water
When you rinse your rice, you may usually take that cloudy water and dump it in the sink. After all, what else can you do with it? Well, that water is packed full of nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and flavonoids that are beneficial to many different living creatures.
Now, we aren’t suggesting you should drink it. While you probably could, it doesn’t necessarily taste the best. Instead, you can use it to water your plants, as it has the nutrients your plants need as well. That way, you aren’t throwing perfectly good water down the drain and are learning to repurpose some basic things.
