#3: Freeze Your Lemon Juice
Lemons are so versatile. You can use the juice to brighten up a dish with acid or add a little brightness to a dish with some zest. While there are options to buy lemon juice at a store that can last longer, it isn’t as good. But lemons can go bad, and then you have to toss them away.
To reduce waste and save money, when you think your lemons are getting close to going bad, you can juice them and pour the juice into an ice tray. This allows you to save the juice for later. You can also freeze the zest. And, if you want to get crazy, you can look at preserving lemons whole.
