#29: Harsh Realizations
While many women (and some men) contributed helpful pieces of advice, some women on the thread shared that these rules were completely new to them. This thread opened their eyes to the fact that they’ve never been surrounded by supportive women. On the contrary, the women around them have always been mean, selfish, and vindictive women.
They probably always knew it deep in their hearts but never actually realized there was anything wrong until they came across this thread and found out that’s not how true friends act. True friends actually look out and support one another, and that’s something they’ve never experienced. I wonder how many other women feel this way; it can be a very helpless and lonely feeling.
