The most unfriendly thing a woman can do is not share her beauty routine with other women. If someone compliments your hair, makeup, or clothes, the right thing to do is tell her where and when you got that dress, what makeup products you use, and what’s your hair washing routine.

This poster also said she is curly, and since curly hair is usually difficult to take care of, a successful hair washing routine is invaluable information. The only caveat to the rule, according to the poster, is that in case there’s a big age gap between the compliment giver and receiver, it might not be received well. I would’ve imagined that older women wouldn’t always appreciate being interrogated, but the poster said it was the other way around!
