Not-so-smart sneakers
The concept of smart sneakers is undoubtedly a cool one. Imagine just putting on your shoes and running out the door. Now, you don’t have to waste precious seconds lacing up your shoelaces since your sneakers can do it for you! The Nike Adapt BB really was supposed to be a game-changer.
At least, they could do it for you, until a firmware update made them break as soon as they paired with an Android device. This means that more than 50% of those who splurged $350-plus on these shoes were left with nothing but an expensive paperweight with a Nike logo on it.
