Grate Your Butter
Haven’t we all forgotten to take the butter out of the fridge well in advance so that it can soften by the time you need it? Given that it is cold during winter, your butter will take longer than usual to melt to that soft texture that’s perfect for baking.
Instead of waiting or using the microwave which almost always spoils the texture of it, here’s a simple hack that you can try. Just take a cheese grater and grate that block of butter on it. The grated butter will be fluffy and pliable – perfect for spreading or mixing. Plus the whole process just takes 10-15 seconds!
