Potentially Life-Saving Tips from One Internet User to Another

February 11, 2010 by Regina Clarke

The internet is a great place to follow up on gossip, fulfill all your entertainment needs, and research information on any subject you can possibly imagine. While the internet might be full of false information, it’s also a great place to find life-saving tips and hacks that will keep you safe at all times, make your life easier, and even save you some money in the end. Whether you’re camping in the wilderness or grilling in your backyard, here is a list of life-saving tips shared by good people online you probably never knew about. We suggest you take notes!

Master of disguise

In case you are stuck on a deserted tropical island, remember that brown coconuts are not this huge source of water everyone thinks they are. Actually, it’s only the green coconuts that can save you from overheating. The brown ones, on the other hand, contain an oil that can cause dehydration.

Don’t count the brown coconuts out completely though. Although they are not going to keep you from hallucinating due to lack of water, they will keep you from going insane by the taunting buzzing and stinging of mosquitoes, if you light them on fire.
