How to Spot Venomous Snakes
There are so many species of snakes in the wild that anyone less than an expert will have a hard time identifying which ones are venomous and which ones are not with a simple glance. It goes without saying that identifying dangerous snakes could be life-saving, in case of a snake bite.
If you are walking on a trail and come across a slithering snake, try to examine their heads (with caution, of course). If it’s rounded and their eyes and pupils are round, keep walking and leave it behind, they are probably not dangerous. If they have a triangle-shaped head and elliptical pupils, find another route, this one is venomous and you shouldn’t chance the encounter.
