#11: Armageddon Training
Michael Bay isn’t known for directing historically (or scientifically) accurate movies. Armageddon might be one of his most inaccurate films of all time, at least according to NASA! The science fiction disaster film was released in 1998 and involves a fictional NASA sending a group of men into space to stop a lethal asteroid from destroying Earth.

While NASA has since diverted an asteroid in real life, the movie is still pretty inaccurate. It’s so inaccurate, in fact, that NASA plays the film during its management training program. The movie is used as an example of what not to do. New managers watch the film and identify as many errors as possible as a way to learn protocol. To date, at least 168 mistakes have been found. At least the movie is entertaining!
