#3: Special Cookies
The cult classic film Stand By Me, released in 1986, was mostly filmed in different locations across Oregon. The main stars of the film are Jerry O’Connell, Corey Feldman, River Phoenix, and Wil Wheaton. All these actors were kids at the time, which makes this tidbit even more wild. While filming on location, the film crew discovered a local Renaissance Fair and decided to take a break and visit. Sounds harmless enough, right?
Naturally, they had a great time at the fair and bought some cookies at one of the vendor booths. They shared their goodies with the actors, including the kids. Everything was fine until a few hours later when Jerry O’Connell was found freaking out and crying on set. Turns out, the cookies were infused with pot! Whoops.
