#6: Party Crasher
The Dark Knight was one of Heath Ledger’s last roles before he passed away. His unhinged rendition of The Joker is perhaps one of his most memorable, iconic roles. If you’ve seen the film, you probably remember the terrifying scene of The Joker and his cronies crashing the fancy dinner party. It turns out that the scene was shocking for Heath’s fellow actors as well.
Co-star Michael Caine, who plays Alfred Pennyworth, was rendered speechless when he laid eyes on Heath as the Joker. It was his first time seeing Heath in character and he was absolutely shocked by the transformation. He was so shocked that he forgot his lines for the scene, and the final cut just includes Michael standing in front of the elevator doors as they open and then moving to the side.
