Reese has been on Ellen’s show many, many times and they’ve always seemed to have a great time. Even the audience loves their onscreen chemistry and can’t get enough of them. However, in 2018, there were reports that not everything was as pleasant as it seemed. 

Apparently, Reese wanted to become daytime’s next queen by making celebrities star on her new talk show, “Shine On With Reese” exclusively. This would mean that they wouldn’t be able to make appearances on the Ellen show. Considering celebrities like Jennifer Aniston are great friends with both of them, this would certainly make things awkward. Thankfully, we think this was just a rumor although Witherspoon hasn’t appeared on the show since.
