After Ellen’s infamous outing with former president George W. Bush, English actress Jameela Jamil supported the talkshow host saying that her handling of the controversy was “incredibly strong.” We guess she meant the part where Ellen reiterated that she believes in being kind to everyone despite their opinions.

Unfortunately, Jamil got some serious flak for her opinion and she eventually ended up deleting her original tweet. She followed that up with another tweet saying she had been ignorant of the former president’s doings and now that she knew better, she finally understands the rage. Fans didn’t exactly buy that but it is what it is.
