Comedian and political commentator, Hasan Minhaj best known for his Netflix show, “Patriot Act” was a guest on Ellen’s talk show back in April 2019. The interview got a little awkward when Ellen botched Hasan’s last name not once but twice. The star was happy to correct her because he’s tired of people getting it wrong all the time. 

Apparently, he was even advised that he should change his name to have a smooth career but he refused. Like he said, “If you can pronounce Ansel Elgort, you can pronounce Hasan Minhaj.” We couldn’t agree more. He also joked that at Starbucks, he just goes by “Timothée Chalamet.” Ha!
