Wrench for espresso machine
Not many people know their way around an espresso machine because those things are ridiculously overpriced. Seriously, have you seen what mid-tier espresso machines go for? No wonder cafes sell espressos at such high prices! But this guy, despite being around espresso machines for a lot of his adult life, had no idea why there were hexagonal holes in the measuring spoons.

Another more seasoned barista chimed in and offered the right answer. The hexagonal hole is used to remove the hexagonal nut that keeps the steam nozzle in place. When you need to clean the nozzle, you can use the measuring spoon to loosen and remove the nut and nozzle.
