28 Days Later
28 Days Later is a movie set in post-apocalyptic Britain. It shows how life would look after a virus turns people into crazed cannibalistic killers just seconds after exposure. It’s not your typical zombie or alien movie, but instead, the virus would bring out everyone’s innate nature to kill.
The movie would gross over $85 million at the box office against a modest $6.6-million budget. One thing that people commended the filmmakers for was renting actual hospitals to shoot the hospital scenes, which meant money went to the healthcare system. Kudos to the filmmakers for both their film’s tremendous success and for helping out a struggling industry!
