Don’t Breathe
Although 2016’s Don’t Breathe had some pretty well-known names working on set, including Sam Raimi and Jane Levy, the film only received a budget of $9.9 million to work with. The main storyline follows three immoral people who attempt to burglarize a blind man’s home, not knowing that they’d bitten off more than they could chew.

With excellent directing and a cast of surprisingly convincing actors and actresses, the movie managed to rake in close to $160 million at the box office. It received a total of six nominations and won two for Best Supporting Actor (Stephen Lang) and Best Horror Film.
