Maternal Admiration Of Cats
William-Adolphe Bouguereau is a French academic painter who often uses mythological themes. He is also inclined with the realistic genre and making modern interpretations of classical subjects while putting an emphasis on the female body. Arguably one of his best works was the Maternal Admiration which highlights the motherly love that children receive from their parents, and the importance of children in the society.

This classical piece of art is definitely as heartwarming as it looks, but Varkey’s creative mind found a way to turn this into something that the internet would find both amusing and relatable. Instead of an infant, he replaced it with a cat, which, as a fur parent, I could actually relate to. He was a proud CATholic.
