Transportation of Beer
One thing remains the same over the years- people love their beer. Luckily, how that beer is moved from the warehouse to the customer has changed quite a bit. The original beer trucks, as the photo shows, featured an open cargo bed. This meant that the barrels of beer were merely strapped in and transported.
Today, beer is moved with refrigerated 18 wheelers, ensuring beer remains cold, fresh, and safe as it travels. Modern trucks are also significantly larger and can transport a much high volume of product each trip. This has allowed for beer companies to increase both their sales and their reach.
