Take the humble scooter, for example. Scooters had a resurgence in popularity in the early 2000s, and electric scooters are pretty common today.

These guys were way ahead of the curve, though. These postal workers were living that scooter life before it was popular! Considering that this photo was taken in 1918, these scooters look pretty modern.
