Lyla Garrity was a kind but spoiled “All-American” golden girl born from a seemingly perfect family. She was a main cast member of Friday Night Lights for the first three seasons. While dating star quarterback Jason Street, she got romantically involved with Tim Riggings one night, which led to a drastic change of lifestyle.

Soon after breaking up with Jason, her parents filed for divorce, and she became the target of ridicule among her fellow cheerleaders. In the third season and her senior year, she and Jason squash their beef, but she leaves for Nashville to attend college. She returned briefly in the fourth season to attend Matt’s father’s funeral.
